This document is issued by the Gold Bench (Merchants) under the authority of the High Council. War is an expensive endeavor for any Home Stone, requiring coin for arrows, grain for the garrison, and repairs to the walls. The War-Tax Decree shifts the financial burden onto the citizens and merchants of Ar’s Station.

FISCAL MANDATE: By order of the High Administrator and the Council of Merchants. To sustain the defense of the Home Stone and support the Scarlet Bench in the current state of Total War, an emergency levy is hereby enacted. All Free Persons and Mercantile Houses are commanded to contribute to the War Chest.
