I. THE BOND IS BROKEN The subject is released from all service, debt, and obligation to my House and lineage. The leash is dropped; the command is ended.
II. THE BRAND IS VOIDED Though the iron remains upon the flesh, it is hereafter recognized as "Struck." The mark no longer denotes ownership but serves as a testament to a status now past. The subject is no longer a thing of the leash, but a Free Person of Gor.
III. RESTORATION OF STATUS The slave name is discarded. The subject shall henceforth be known by their Free Name and is granted the right to seek a Caste and petition for the protection of a Home Stone.
