In Gorean law, a Contract for Enslavement (or a Debt-Bonding Contract) is the legal instrument used when a Free Person surrenders their liberty to another. This is often used to settle insurmountable debts, as a voluntary submission, or as a private alternative to a judicial sentence.
Once this document is signed and sealed, the individual ceases to be a person under the Law and becomes property.
